Teresa Haislip Robinson, Executive Director
Born
and raised in North Carolina, Teresa graduated from the University
of North Carolina at Greensboro, earning a B.M. degree with
a specialization in Music Education. Following graduation,
Teresa traveled from North Carolina to various parts of the
U.S. doing dinner theatre, outdoor dramas, and regional theatre.
In the
mid-80s, Teresa moved to New York City to pursue theatre.
While there, she studied at Uta Hagen’s Studio in Greenwich
Village and performed off-Broadway at the Light Opera of Manhattan
in “The Mikado” and “The Vagabond King.”
She also appeared in bit parts on the soap operas “Ryan’s
Hope” and “One Life To Live” and did regional
commercials.
In August
of 1991, Teresa made a move to Nashville, TN. She switched
gears from performing to a career in the business side of
the music industry, quickly working her way up to publishing
administrator at Tom Collins Productions.
Teresa
grew up in a Christ-centered family, and in childhood made
her commitment to Him. She has been active in church life
everywhere she has lived. In New York, she served on the advisory
board for the young adult ministry at Fifth Avenue Presbyterian.
Currently, she is the music administrative assistant at St.
Bartholomew’s Church and serves as a children’s
leader for Bible Study Fellowship.
Teresa’s
beautiful singing voice, combined with her administrative
expertise, allows her to serve in a critical, multi-faceted
role in ProdigalSong Ministries. In addition to being a powerful
component in the musical/ministerial aspects of the live performances,
Teresa oversees all of the administrative, music publishing,
booking, and live performance/ promotional duties. As Jim
says, “She does everything but play the piano!”
Soon after
moving to Nashville, Teresa met Jim Robinson. They were in
engaged by Christmas and married in May of ’92. Teresa
and Jim have two beautiful children.

Larry
and Frances Vaughn - Event Directors
Larry
and Frances Vaughn serve as a ProdigalSong's
Event Directors,
promoting
Jim's efforts to establish a foundation for healing and hope
in your community by utilizing ProdigalSong Ministries' resources.
Frances
grew up in Birmingham, Alabama, the daughter of bi-vocational
missionaries; their home was a furlough home for missionaries
returning from foreign fields of service. Thirty one years
of marriage, two sons, and one beautiful daughter-in-law later,
she lives with her husband, Larry, west of Vail, Colorado.
Frances has 30 years of volunteer ministry in a dozen plus
churches across the United States and has served on the staff
of several of them. She’s also served at a regional
level of her denomination, working with the pastors and their
staffs of over 300 churches. Event planning is her forte,
and her multiple roles with ProdigalSong include booking management/organization
for Jim and the team as they perform around the country, as
well as overseeing many administrative duties. She loves people
and is tireless in her devotion to encourage believers and
non-believers alike. Her passion is the body of Christ and
its edification, and to this end, she gives her life in service.

Larry
has over thirty years of managing challenging healthcare construction
projects. As a Senior Vice President for a Nashville, Tennessee
healthcare provider, Larry has engaged and managed project
delivery teams for the development and construction of hospitals
throughout the United States. A lifelong member of Southern
Baptist churches, Larry has held positions of Sunday School
Teacher, Sunday School Division Director, Chairman of Building
Committees, and Deacon. Larry's good-natured enthusiasm for
working closely with people belies a lifetime conflict with
isolation and hopelessness, as a result of addictions and
bipolar disease. God's grace, and Jim's ministry, were the
blueprint for his miraculous recovery.

Sherry
G. Thomas, Event Coordinator
Sherry
holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Information
Systems and has over 20 years of experience in the oil and
gas industry as a Senior Financial Analyst for large corporations
such as ARCO and Occidental Petroleum. In 2003, she began
a prayerful, soul search for her life’s purpose beyond
the business arena. That search intensified as 2004 brought
a quick 10-week succession of personal tragedies in the form
of losing her mother to lung cancer, her husband suffering
a major heart attack, and a personal diagnosis of breast cancer.
Through God’s grace, she emerged from the other side
with her faith rekindled and a renewed passion for a long-lost
love in her life—writing.
Sherry met Jim in October of 2005 at the Glorieta Christian
Writer’s Conference and soon after convinced her congregation
to host a ProdigalSong event weekend at Crestview Baptist
Church in Midland, Texas. Held in August of ‘06, the
event proved life changing for Sherry. She has since led the
charge to establish a full-blown support group ministry at
Crestview and, at Jim’s invitation, is co-authoring
workbook materials for ProdigalSong which will be available
for churches to use following an event. The Crestview event
set a prototype of what a full-scale ProdigalSong event can
be. Sherry’s leadership at the forefront of the planning
stages all the way through the promotional aspects and actual
event itself (with follow-up as well) position her as an exceptional
contact person for planning future ProdigalSong Ministries
events.
A professed Christian since the age of 16, Sherry is convinced
that our Christ-walks are less about the mountaintop experiences,
and more about emerging from the valleys with our faith still
intact so that we might serve others in valleys of their own.
She feels like she has found common ground in that philosophy
at ProdigalSong.
Sherry
has also written numerous articles for the Crestview newsletter,
has been published in P31 Woman Magazine, and is a contributing
author in a compilation book entitled Laundry Tales to Lighten
Your Load. She is working toward the completion of her first
novel. She and her husband of 26 years have three sons and
are grateful for their new lives.
