“Jim’s
music reflects his experience with Christ; it reflects a vibrant
experience with a God who is in the world and changes people’s
lives. His songs and his story have been an inspiration to
many in our fellowship of faith. I commend his work to all.”
-Dr. Russell Ritchell, Senior Pastor, First Presbyterian Church,

"ProdigalSong
is a religious experience! Jim Robinson is a gifted writer,
who knows how to speak to the heart. The words and music combine
to express the paradox of the Christian life. The lyrics haunt,
yet they comfort. The music is appealing, yet reverent. Listen
closely; Robinson's story deserves your attention."
-June E.
Haislip, Pastor, West End Christian Church (Disciples of Christ),
Danville, VA

"Our church
family recently had the pleasure of hosting Jim Robinson for a
wonderful evening of worship. Jim's honest approach to ministry
and sincere testimony of deliverance will touch the heart of the
believer and move the unbeliever to make a decision for Christ.
Jim makes a point in his concerts to be transparent and show
through the ministry of music the love and forgiveness of
Jesus."

Howard, Associate Pastor of Music Ministries, First Pentecostal
Holiness Church, Greenville, North Carolina

"Jim Robinson
is attempting to bring a new level of understanding and
awareness to church people of the need for love and acceptance
of those with addictions, so they can feel safe in acknowledging
their problems and seek help. His message is strongly redemptive
and he presents very clearly the reality that only in Christ can
these needs be met. In our Sunday evening service, following
Jim's morning concert, one of our board members’ wives stood and
shared how God had used Jim’s story in her life—she came from a
home where her father was an alcoholic—and shared its powerful
effect on her. Many others also were touched by the message of
Jim’s story, and are now seeking additional help for their
specific needs. I would encourage everyone to consider opening
your doors to this type of message, one greatly needed in the
church today."
-Celia F. Davis, Director Of Music Ministry, Church of the
Nazarene, Mundelein, IL

"I can't begin to mention
all the encouraging comments we received from our
congregation about how much they enjoyed you sharing in our
services. Truly, we enjoyed your message in song and
testimony. It seemed the time went by way too fast.
I was really blessed by the song written about your
mother-in-law, 'Until The Light Goes Out.' We all have
members in our family who have experienced exactly what your
song expressed. Your song was a wonderful tribute to her as
well as your father-in-law, Bryan.
Of course, I knew many of your songs even before you
visited; your songs are played on a station that I download
while at work. The station is KLOVE radio out of Sacramento,
California. I wish you could be with us this Sunday as our
choir sings your beautiful song, 'Be.' Having had you share
this song makes it that much more special. I know that our
paths will cross again. You have a wonderful voice and
testimony and are very musically BLESSED! I know God will
use you mightily."

Owens, Music Director, First Free Will Baptist Church

"Our church was recently blessed
to have Jim Robinson come and lead us in a special time of
worship through his songs and his personal testimony. His
musical talents are extraordinary, his testimony is a
heart-warming one, but most of all his heart is sincere.
Jim performed here on the day after we lost a dear friend
and member of our church who had a cancerous brain
tumor. Daniel was only 11 years old when God called him home
one Saturday night. And Jim had agreed to lead us in worship
on Sunday morning. I called Jim and informed him of the
events that had taken place the night before so that he
could plan a time of worship a little different than we had
originally discussed.
Without hesitation he went to work with the leading of the
Holy Spirit and led us in a time of worship that was
conducive to the spirit of loss we were feeling that Sunday
morning. He truly ministered to our needs through his music
and testimony and allowed the Holy Spirit to dictate how he
led our time of worship. For that, our congregation was
truly thankful.
It is without reservation that I recommend Jim Robinson to
you as a musician and a brother in Christ. In whatever
capacity he is asked to lead in, I feel confident that it
will all be done in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Mike Smith, Bethel, North Carolina

"Jim Robinson tells a story of
family dysfunction and substance abuse and, ultimately,
redemption. Such testimonies are not that unusual among
Christians. What is extraordinary about Jim is this: He
tells it straight. He does not milk his story for
sentimentality. He does not over-spiritualize his story, nor
does he attempt to manipulate people with it. He just tells
it. And the power of his life stands on its own. Both in his
testimony and music, we experience the true liberating power
of Christ."
-Doug
Murray, Pastor, First Baptist Church, Wilson, NC

"This past February, we had
the privilege of hosting Jim Robinson at our church. His
testimonial concert entitled Healing The Broken Spirit,
brought a much needed and inspiring message of hope and
healing to our congregation. Through his music and message,
he reflected the love of our Savior, and showed us a living
example of Christ’s redeeming promise of grace. I am pleased
to endorse Jim and ProdigalSong Ministries. This courageous
communicator will be a blessing to your body of faith."

Reverend H. Gregory West, JCL, Saint Gregory The Great
